TURBANS AS A TRENDY ACCESSORY NOW.

Turbans have always being worn by ladies for a long time, but its popularity now is off the hook, its the in-thing now, and trending.
It is not surprising that ladies are now ditching gele for turbans as it is no doubt the chicest head accessory.

Its the same form and style as the former, but fashionistas has found a way to do it differently, stylishly, if you were not into them, you see yourself beginning to fancy owning one.

These stylish turbans are sewn with velvet material, they come in different bright colours, you can tie them differently to form a unique shape and it can work with whatever you're outfit is as long as you have the right colours to match them.

No need to tie a turban in the usual way, going in circles and tucking in...instead try to create a step in the front as you tie, remember the bulge at the back gives it the balance and flair it needs to form a shape that is unique, turbans look sophisticated when adorned with a brooch or with colourful beads.

Turbans with good makeup and dress sense, looks gorgeous and stylish, because turbans are tightened when tying, it brings your whole face to focus, to limelight. ..as such making your makeup stand out.

Having a bad hair day?...with turbans you won't even noticed.

CLASSY BLUE EYE MAKEUP INSPIRATION

This Look is so classy and cool, I got the look over the weekend, and compliments kept coming.

It is fresh, clean and classy, got the inspiration from one of my favourite MUA, it's a touch of blue and makes a statement for itself..

To achieve this Look, your hair should be an updo, its not a must but updos equals classy, simple and unique earings, not necessarily a necklace if you have a high-neck dress like mine.

For the eyeshadow, get neutral shades of Light and medium, your dark eyeshadow will be the high pigmented blue emphasised earlier, choose any neutral shade eyeshadow of your choice.

To get the look, apply your eye primer over your whole lid, brush the light eyeshadow over  the crease, and the medium just a little under the crease to create that smooth transitioning in colours, blend well and apply the blue pigmented eyeshadow on just your Lid, and under your eyes, avoid smerging it on other areas of the eyes, don't forget your eyeliner  and mascara to enhance your eye makeup.

If you are a lashes girl, this is your time, it will boost this look greatly.

For your Lips, neutral is the way to go, line your lips and apply your lipstick over your lips and the line, blend well and add a touch of gloss...
Voila, you are good to go, of course make sure you prep and powder your face adequately to achieve your desired look.

Hope this helps have a great day.

MOST TALKED ABOUT TRENDS OF 2016.

Like Every other year, Beauty happened in 2016, so many more products raved the markets, and did justice for Our faces.
I will be sharing some of the products I got myself, so I wont feel left out in today's trends, these products were raved about so much, you know you aren't current without them.
Some of these products are for Eyes, Face, lips but they generally tend to bring better results when used, They make the art of makeup a glide through.
We can't get enough of them, am certain even with the lots coming out This new year, we'll still have the need for these jewels.

  • Beauty Blenders: Great tool for blending, it makes blending so much easier and gives a smooth finish every time. We have different types and shapes of blenders, oval, round, squared and there are also used differently. We have high end blenders (those do magic ) and the average known blenders, Both can serve beautifully depending on application, a damp blender gives a more beautiful result and finish.

  •  Brow Fillers: Have loved makeup for a while and I've always use the pencil to fill my brows, but last year, brow fillers was everywhere, both in the powered and gel form, I had to get one and really saw the differences, for optimal results, a pencil and a brow filler used together makes your brows fleek.
  • Concealers: Wow, this is one trend that will continue in this new year, it wakes up your eyes, and great for under eyes bag, cover every blemishes and make your makeup look great, One concealer that raved the market in 2016 was the La Pro concealers, it's affordable and really great, it gets the job done Every time.
  • Matte Lipsticks: Signature look of 2016, everyone all of a sudden wanted a matte lipstick, Mac Ruby woo and others sold out am certain, Industries had to start thinking of matte lipsticks line, the Kylie Jenner's Lip kit broke the Internet..and everyone wanted and still wants a Kylie Jenner's lipstick, though a bit priced, it didn't stop no one.
  • Contour and Highlighting: This was the mother of all inventions in 2016, not that it never existed, but it became full blown last year, with different tools and style of application. Its is a great one, because the result are more like miracles. Its a trend that's going nowhere this new year.
  •  Primers: Excellent ones, a protection and barrier between the makeup and your face, plus it makes the makeup lasts for longer periods and creates a smooth finish, its an essential step we never appreciated until 2016.
  •  Face Baking: I only heard of this in 2016, to keep your makeup throughout the day, this is your go-to, with a great setting powder you can sweat proof your makeup and sustain it throughout the day. This is a keeper and it takes a number of steps to achieve it.
